On Saturday January 9th at Howard Theatre, I was blessed enough to teach our second installment of Down South Bounce and I could not have been happier!  The Howard Theatre crew had our lights flashing, beats bumpin' and anything else that we needed! We were also lucky enough to have Cycled!, Reebok, YMCA and Helix Social as our sponsors! Helix Social made sure to keep us hydrated with healthy nibs and sips from local store, Turning Natural at the Energy Bounce Bar.

We had awesome giveaways and Cycled! instructors Shayla and Alicia rode their bikes as we jammed out on foot!

Speaking of feet, Reebok had us fitted in the cutest shoes that were a cross between a fitness shoe and dance shoe (Hayasu) so of course I was in complete heaven! They were stylish but still comfortable! Totally loved that!

As I walked in the theatre, I felt the energy and I remember thinking to myself "today is gonna be a great day!" And it totally was! It was the coolest thing to see so many different types and levels of women AND men there! Everyone was there to get a workout and have fun. And oh did we have fun! The energy in the room was unbelievable and to look out at the sea of people moving, and smiling and screams of excitement was nothing short of amazing! We partied out and burned calories, then danced down a soul train line that led to a full body cool down!

The best part was being able to hug and take pictures with everyone! Talking to you guys and learning more about where you are from and how you heard about the event, was sooo cool and heartwarming! It was the motivation I needed and why I do what I do!

So I'll end this post by saying...Never doubt your power and your worth! Whether your trying to lose weight or maintain your weight or just have fun while working out, push yourself! Don't ever question if you can do something because you can. It may be difficult at first but you are amazing and you can do anything you put your mind to! So in this new year, let's push ourselves to a new level and be thankful for the process and the experience!

Bounce on, my friends!!
